Minor in Data Analytics

This minor is for students who are interested in learning from data but may have little or no data analysis background. It requires no prior experience with statistics, computing, or data analysis. Students completing this minor will gain significant experience with working with data to prepare for analysis, drawing conclusions from data, and communicating conclusions.

Program Requirements: Minor in Data Analytics

The minor in Data Analytics requires four core courses and one restricted elective course. In total the minor in Data Analytics requires 15 credit hours.  A grade of C- or higher is required for all minor courses.

Prerequisites to Declare the Minor in Data Analytics

Students must have completed all prerequisite courses to declare the minor. Students may use AP credit to meet prerequisite requirements.
